Q:  How do we get into the property?
A:  Sand and Sea Properties will provide you with the address of the property you leased, a lock  box code which contains the house keys and the directions  to the property. Upon arrival, please go directly to the property.  Please inquire with Sand and Sea Properties for your specific requirements and personalized guest arrival services.

Q:  What time is check-in and check-out?

A:  Check-In is 3:00PM and Check-Out is 10:00AM. We can, however, make exceptions if the property is available. Please contact Sand and Sea Properties for availability of your vacation rental property.  Fees may apply.

Q:  Is the home fully furnished?
A:  All of Sand and Sea Properties rental properties are fully furnished complete with fully equipped kitchens including dishes, pots, pans, serving ware, utensils, silverware, glassware, coffee pot, blender, toaster, etc. Everything you need for entertaining - from a cocktail party to a dinner party can be found in each of our homes. Our bathrooms are fully stocked with towels, wash clothes, hair dryers, iron and ironing board. Linens, pillows and blankets are provided for each bedroom.

 

Q:  What credit cards do you accept for payment?   

A:  Sand and Sea Properties accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express for payment.  All payments must be cleared before check-in.

Q:  Is daily housekeeping included?
A:  Daily housekeeping is not included in the rental rate but it can be easily arranged at the tenant's expense. Sand and Sea Properties requires each property to be deep cleaned upon a tenant's departure at the tenant's expense after each tenancy. Prices vary for each property.  For a tenancy 7 days or longer, we require at least one interim cleaning during your stay at the tenants expense.

Q:  Are pets allowed?

A:  Sand and Sea Properties has a No Pet Policy for all of our properties.  An additional security deposit fees departure cleaning fees will charged for keeping a pet at the property that was no approved by Sand and Sea Properties and written Owner approval.

Q:  What supplies are included with the property?
A:  General supplies are included in all of Sand and Sea Properties. Supplies include: dish soap, laundry soap, paper products such as Kleenex, 4 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom and paper towels. The supplies are provided to you for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. In addition, each bathroom is supplied with luxury shampoo, conditioner, lotion and hand soap.  Please plan on purchasing additional supplies as needed for your stay.  Sand and Sea Properties does replenish paper product supplies.

Q:  Is there air conditioning in my rental property?
A:  Most of Sand and Sea Properties are equipped with air conditioning systems. If you require cooling, be sure to request cooling at the time you make your reservation and your lease agreement will reflect the type of cooling with which the home is equipped.

Q:  Is there a fee for early check-in and late check-out?
A:  Yes. There is a $50 fee for early check-in and a $100 fee for late check-out.

 

Q:  Is there internet and telephone service in the rental property?
A:  Sand and Sea Properties are equipped with internet service and offer local telephone service. Long distance phone service is not included. Be sure to check with Sand and Sea Properties when making a reservation regarding the property's internet and telephone service.

Q:  Is there off street or assigned parking?

A:  Sand and Sea Properties offer assigned or dedicated off street parking for all of our vacation rentals.  Please inquire with your leasing agent on the number of parking spaces allocated to your vacation rental.  Not all vacation rentals offer the same number of spaces.

Q:  Is my vacation rental walking distance to the beach or town?

A:  Sand and Sea Properties offer vacation rentals that are walking distance to the beach and town.  Each property's distance to the beach or town varies.  Please inquire with your leasing agent on the specifics.

Q:  May we have a wedding or large party celebration at the vacation rental?

A:  Guests may host a celebratory event at their vacation rental but are limited to the maximum number of 2 persons per bedroom.  Special approval may be required by Sand and Sea Properties so please receive approval from your leasing agent.  Extra housekeeping and security deposit fees may apply.  Also note that Laguna Beach, Newport Beach and Corona del Mar have city noise ordinances in effect and contain a 10:00PM music and lights out policy.  Special note: as a reminder, when leasing a vacation home in a neighborhood where full time residents live,  please use common sense courtesies and neighborly policies.  Warning; neighbors will call the local police if noise, parking or trash buildup becomes an issue.

Q:  Is smoking permitted?

A:  All of Sand and Sea Properties are NON-SMOKING. Please respect this policy.  Security deposit fees and extra deep cleaning and mitigation fees will be charged if a guest or a guest's guest smokes in the property.
